Mercedes Benz 230 SL in an elegant combination of dark green “dunkelgrün 268” bodywork with mohair soft top and “cognac 140” interior, all matching colors. The car is in excellent state of preservation, with a new soft top and equipped with the original Hard Top. It presents itself in excellent aesthetic condition. Mechanically reconditioned to like-new with the engine, injection pump, and accessories restored to new by Mercedes Benz experts. The car is available on site and ready for any test drive.

Born from a project in 1961 and presented in Geneva in 1963, the Mercedes management’s requirements were clear: the car had to be brilliant, spacious, comfortable, and with an attractive design. Designed by the team led by Paul Bracq, it immediately achieved great success in Europe and the United States. Mechanically linked to classic schemes with a front engine, rear-wheel drive, and a standard 4-speed manual transmission (with an optional automatic), the 230 SL featured a new inline six-cylinder engine with good power, 150 hp, which also allowed for some racing ambition with a victory in the 1963 Spa-Sofia-Liège rally.
