Renault has chosen the Tour Auto 2026 as the stage to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dauphine, bringing one of the most iconic models in its history back to the road. The star of the show will be a 1968 Dauphine Gordini, competing in the regularity class for historic cars, in an event that combines tradition, competition, and automotive culture.
From May 4th to 9th, along the route linking Paris to Biarritz through five stages of open roads and circuits, the French car will once again compete in real-world conditions, confirming the brand’s desire to breathe new life into its heritage, not only through static displays but also through road use.
The Dauphine Gordini chosen for this participation represents a precise symbol: that of accessible sportiness that defined an era.
