Less Than 24 Hours Until The Start Of The 15th Historical Re-Enactment Of The Coppa Milano Sanremo

Thursday 14 March the crews will meet at the Tazio Nuvolari racetrack to participate in the 15th edition of the Coppa Milano Sanremo

A race that winds through Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria, with a detour to the Principality of Monaco, from the mountains to the sea, a ring for the first competition of the Italian Major Events Championship, which retraces one of the oldest automotive challenges in Italy.

69 crews registered for this XV historical re-enactment, with the participation of 24 modern cars. The race, with a total route of 864 km, will start at 2.30pm on Thursday 14 March on the Tazio Nuvolari circuit, where the first two blocks of timed tests will take place, to end the first day in Milan with a gala dinner at hotel Melia.

On Friday the crews will set off at 8:00 in the morning to head to Sanremo and finish in the splendid setting of the Montecarlo bay at the Montecarlo Bay hotel after approximately 370 km.

On Saturday they will travel 340 km ending the day in Rapallo and finally on Sunday the last 150 km to finish the XV Historical Re-enactment of the Coppa Milano Sanremo at Castello di Piovera (AL). A small further transfer will take them back to Milan where the rankings will be displayed and the awards will be given at the ACI in Milan which sponsored and supported the event.

Some inconveniences are characterizing this edition, which have already led the organizers to make changes to the route due to landslides, mudslides and urgent road works following the bad weather that has hit the area in recent weeks. The first information circular published online reports deviations and route changes in 4 competition sectors. We hope that the crews do not encounter any further inconveniences due to bad weather.

Alberto Diana and Alberto Carrotta will start this edition for the Scuderia Promotor Classic aboard a 1938 Fiat 508C. Good luck to our standard bearers and have fun everyone!
