Decremer–Hugo Claim Victory at the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique for the Second Consecutive Year

The Belgian crew of Michel Decremer and Jennifer Hugo triumphed at the 27th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, driving a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI. Starting from Reims, they held the lead from Saturday onwards, also winning the final two regularity stages, including the legendary Col de Turini.

The podium was completed by Spaniards Luis Climent Asensio and Carles Jimenez Valls in a BMW 323i, followed by Italians Fabrizio Rossi and Marco Frascaroli in a Lancia Fulvia. Also noteworthy was the performance of Giorgio Schon and Francesco Giammarino in an Austin Mini Cooper S, who finished in fourth place.

In total, nine different marques ranked within the top 10 of the overall classification. Porsche secured six stage wins, followed by BMW and Alfa Romeo with four each. Lancia and Austin claimed three apiece, while Volkswagen and Fiat achieved two each.
