Chantilly 2026: Elegance meets racing legends

On September 13, the gardens of the Château de Chantilly, just outside Paris, will host the 2026 Chantilly Arts & Elegance Concours d’État. The announced selection spans decades of automotive history, from the artisanal coachbuilders of the 1930s to the leading lights of endurance racing.

Among the most eagerly awaited cars are the 1939 Talbot-Lago T150-C designed by Figoni et Falaschi and the 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Coupé Speciale with Ghia bodywork, which belonged to Argentine President Juan Perón.

A special tribute will celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura. Among the examples on display, a 1967 P400 hides a curious feature: over twenty layers of paint, likely from color tests conducted by Lamborghini and Bertone.

The world of racing will also be represented by the McLaren F1 GTR in Harrods livery, which finished third overall at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. There will also be space for the Bugatti Type 35 and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ “Coda Tronca”, included in the tribute to designer Ercole Spada.

The program includes categories dedicated to Pininfarina, Ford and Shelby, Maserati MC12 and Renault 5 Turbo: a journey that brings together design, rarity and sporting memory.
